The application of this process can significantly reduce the cost of coal preparation and ensure the excellent quality of clean coal products. 3. Jigging rough selection - heavy medium cyclone selection process
For this process, using a jigs to pre discharge gangue can effectively reduce the impact of gangue content fluctuations on the screening of heavy medium cyclones, while also reducing the amount of heavy medium coal fed and the wear of cyclones. The quality of clean coal products is higher, but the process is complex and there are many types of process equipment. During the coal selection process, some clean coal will be lost, resulting in a lower yield of clean coal
. Years of practice shows that this process can produce low ash clean coal, but the production rate of clean coal is not high. The density grade content of middling coal is up to 15%, but the advantages of this process can be well reflected when the coal quality fluctuates greatly, the raw coal has a high gangue content, and the existing jigging screening system is modified. Therefore, this process is suitable for coal preparation plants with good raw coal washability and a gangue discharge density of about 1180kg/L, and efficient screening can be achieved through jigging. 4. Screening process for two product heavy media cyclones
The screening process of the two product heavy media cyclone is the basic form of the heavy media screening process, that is, the clean coal and heavy products are screened through the low-density cyclone, and then the heavy products are sent to the high-density cyclone to screen middling coal and gangue. This process is mainly used for screening raw coal with low content of middling coal, good raw coal washability, and high ash content of clean coal. In addition, this process has a complex media recovery process, which is not easy to manage. However, in actual production, middling coal is widely used by coal preparation plants, so this process is rarely used.
